What do I need to get started?
Everything is in the box: the RetroShot gun, tactical grip, Bluetooth receiver, IR sensor bar, USB-C cable and a quick start guide. No extra hardware or purchases required.
How long does setup take?
About a minute. Place the IR sensors around your display, plug the Bluetooth receiver into your setup, run the quick aiming calibration and start playing.
Which devices and consoles does it work with?
It works with Windows, Linux, Raspberry Pi, Xbox Series X&S, PS4 and PS5, plus any TV or monitor you can mount the IR sensor bar around.
Does it really work on modern flat screen TVs?
Yes. Old light guns needed CRT screens, but RetroShot uses IR tracking with reference points around your display, so it works on any modern LED, LCD or OLED screen up to 100 inches.
Are games included?
Over 600 classics come pre-loaded, including Time Crisis, House of the Dead, Duck Hunt, Virtua Cop and Area 51. No downloads, no updates and no subscriptions.
Is it wireless, and how do I charge it?
Yes, it connects over wireless 2.4GHz with zero lag. Recharge it between sessions with the included USB-C cable.
Can two people play together?
Yes. Choose the 2-player lineup for co-op or head-to-head arcade sessions, and each player gets their own gun and grip.
Does it have recoil?
It does. Recoil and rumble feedback are synced to every shot in compatible shooting games, which is what makes it feel like the cabinet rather than a controller.
